Statement on Substack Hate Speech Profiteering
I am moving my content to a private site. Catch me here:
Orphangelical
Not that tiny authors like me abandoning Substack will have an impact on Substack policy.
Nevertheless, there are principles that govern my conduct, and I can’t suborn hate. What I mean are the following things:
1.) That by continuing to develop content and serve (a few) followers there – I condone content policy. I do not.
2.) That in (Culture) war profiteering from hate speech, Substack is no better than a dealer selling crack to addicts. Money isn’t the point. Collateral damage is.
3.) That: Appeasement / Neutrality are useless in combat with intolerance. Reasoning will not work. Ask Neville Chamberlain. (Equivalence.)

My duty is to utterly refute the rationale Hamis puts forward (link to that sub embedded below.) Similarly, some Ivy league leaders fell under the misapprehension that neutrality is a good strategy. Never.
Is appeasement and neutrality is a good strategy?
We **MUST** learn from history and this context is crystal clear:
Neville Chamberlain enabled Germany via the “Munich Agreement” ceding the German-speaking Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia to Nazi Germany led by Adolf Hitler. Millions lost their lives before the repercussions quieted.
We are still dealing with reverberations directly related to that appeasement.
