The Cowboy Church Project

The Cowboy Church Project is a mobile event.

Sunday Matinee’s at the Saloon. Have a beer. Oldies.

Venues include Saloons, Farmers Markets, Parks and Malls.

The music is Mid-Century Country Gospel and All-ages Honky Tonk. We’re there to enjoy it.

The format *sort of* follows the Grand Ole Opry – Talk about the songs and history, the artists and circumstances that inspired them. And rough interpretations of those tunes! 😉

The project intends to support volunteers of all kinds. Getting involved should be easy and fun.

When it’s appropriate (rarely), speakers can give encouragement to hungry souls. (Pastors, we feel should probably just sit and listen.) Brief talks by believers (of any creed) busy in the recovery community, for instance, or as community volunteers…

Runtime, typically two hours.
