Did counterintelligence supply evidence of ’s treason?

We are waiting to hear it, but an immediate suspicion last week when we learned of the DOJ Mara Lago search was: Did the CIA / US Counterintelligence apparatus catch in treason?

Then we listened to discussions of why there won’t be an early disclosure of the affidavit in support of the warrant … which reinforces a suspicion that we may never see it because it might contain secrets. Secrets that relate to the collection of foreign intel.

Tea leaves are never easy to read. But a nagging question is: Why would the former President keep and hide, even lie about possessing such sensitive documents? The unequivocal answer we know, because we’ve watched the man since 2015 is: “Donald never does anything unless there’s something in it for him.” Just how valuable were the secrets that the DOJ recovered at Mara Lago?

All of this is a peculiar blessing. We need the wheels of justice to turn. There is an existential threat to our Republic. This is how it lives or dies: That justice prevails.

In a further rumination, there is the question of how the Republican Party and much of its’ leadership may be criminally culpable under RICO statutes.
