The 2nd A. exists to protect the People’s Republic. It is THE last-ditch firewall against corruption and subversion. Are we there?

Words for my compatriots. Some of us drifting left of the middle, and to those who join us as refugees from the ‘distant’ Right…

To the many who are just now becoming conscious, awakening to finding our beloved country already in a civil war by proxy.1 What unites us? What has us aligned against a common enemy?

Since Fallwell, Gingrich and the Moral Majority of the 1980’s, the cultural war has been underway. A slowly heating kettle. The battles are being fought in trenches on the internet, in the media and in the halls of Congress. Politics from the pulpit has empowered local election engineering to an unprecedented extent – from school boards and up the electoral chain, trust has been destroyed.

These battles cannot be won in debate.

Each constituency fights the war through its proxies. Groups form around issues and only adjacent voices are heard. Insular exclusion is a tool of conspiracy and collusion is required to subvert democratic processes into rule of the many by the few. These battles cannot be won in debate. Infiltration, evidence and prosecution are the only tools. But! Justice delayed is not justice.

In the absence of Justice? What remains?

The second amendment exists as the last line of defense, the final bulwark against subversion. What has transpired since 2014 is the intentional collusional erosion of other essential bulwarks by so-called conservatism. There has never been a threat more serious than we face now. The outer protections to our constitution and government have started to fall.

The office of President was used to inflame insurrection, among many other treasonous crimes. No justice.

The flame of subversion has grown, there is no stopping the conspiracy and corruption online, in boardrooms and within conservative politics. No one is accountable. We don’t even know who’s funding the PAC’s.

Facts have little influence on an entertainment industry for political cliques masquerading as news. Lies sell, perhaps even better than sex. The economics of salacious innuendo stands on the grave manners and decency.

SCOTUS has been infiltrated by liars and cheats – and is now an effective legislative arm of white, tribal nationalism. Hopelessness, almost.

Who will stand up? What if words are not enough?

If the first amendment fails, we fall back to the second.

Anti-gun people may want to reconsider their position on owning and knowing how to effectively use the right to firearms.

How long will it be until the present proxy war escalates into naked violent aggression? But I suggest sincerely: Naked violence is already manifest! Children in Texas were murdered this week by a dumb kid acting alone, but clearly as a proxy for those relentlessly working to undermine the peace and security of our nation.

Let’s call it what it is.

The governor of the state, leaders in DC and influencers online and in social media propose that more arms and locked doors are the answer. They may be right, but not in the manner they envision.

The Second Amendment been misappropriated.

If I’m a voice in the wilderness – I’m addressing my loved ones, who by their peaceful nature have not armed themselves. There may come a day you will need to.

On the other hand, the nation is awash in firearms. In open warfare, the streets will be able to forcibly acquire arms and other military supplies from opponents2. We have that on our side, I guess. Having lived in the mean streets, our oppressed brothers and sisters have survived guerilla ganglands; in the north, south, east and west…

I’ll stand with the street against fascist tyranny. I believe others will also. We’re up against camouflaged wannabes trained by hateful moral failures in the dark corners of our nation. They have no idea what they’re up against.

We’re not going anywhere. We will not be moved.

I’m very sorry it’s come to this.

I said in a previous post we have to reclaim our symbols. The Stars and Stripes are desecrated everyday flying from trucks with “Trump Won” festooning bumpers and doors.

So also, has the Second Amendment been misappropriated. The right to bear arms is not a shield insurrection and subversion can hide behind. It exists for us to protect ourselves from them.
