The usual Tuesday PM gig.

Then? Cynthia comes in with her violin. A classically trained, former concert musician? She said "Just play, I’ll follow along." After a few old hymns, that she totally exploded for us, I flipped to Hank Williams Sr. "Take my Hand" – a little known 1940’s country gospel piece she’d never heard. After one verse, we were trading leads, chorus and verse.

So you never know what will happen. Even at the retirement home.

Then guess what? It’s her last day in town. Moving to Corvallis. Doh!
